Being a blogger, most of us, feeds on advertisements only. Advertisements acts like food for bloggers. If we don’t eat, we will die. But, for so me reasons, visitor to our blog installs AdBlock or any equivalent extension on browser to get rid of Ads on any blog.
The following activity may be relaxing on the user’s side but this is not a good approach as reader should support the blog the way blogger asks.
We don’t need any other thing from the side of user and provides valuable information free of cost except showing few units of ads to help run our blog.
Having blocked ads your ads on users’ side will take down your revenue as ads would not be delivered. Hence, no income.
What is AdBlock?
AdBlock is simply a program which allows user to block ads on any website. Thus increasing user experience but decreasing blogger’s interest L. It detects ads on any site and block the scripts to load further on the browser. In fact, most of the browser now comes with this feature of blocking ads by default.
Well, in order to make readers happy, we can accept users’ choice and learn to live without it. Next, we may appeal users to enable ads whenever he visits our blog or list our blog in White List. Or, we make warn readers to enable ads anyhow to continue using our blog. You will not want to do it. J
Reasons why user is compelled to install AdBlock like extensions:-
We can’t blame users completely for blocking ads. We also play an equivalent role in making users to install ad blocker on browser. There are quite lot of examples of websites which prove themselves that these are made for irritating readers only.
Websites like Jagran.com, are full of ads. Even, when one visits site to read news, he instead of reading news, watches ads everywhere. The amount of ads on such sites is huge that one really feels to install AdBlock.
To tell you the truth, I also personally use AdBlock to deal with such sites. Being a member of blogger’s family, I always keep it disabled. Whenever, I feel compelled to enable it, I use it. But, for your information, I have no faith in using it and always keep it disabled.
